Helen Dale

Senior Research Fellow

Helen is an epidemiologist and paediatrician interested in children and young people’s mental health, neurodiversity and inequalities in access to health care services. She is leading a project investigating inequalities in access to mental health services in the Born in Bradford cohort, in parallel to a national analysis of secondary school aged children under the Children and Families Policy Research Unit (CPRU) at University College London (UCL). She has a background in clinical paediatrics, infectious disease epidemiology and global child health, completing her PhD at the Malawi-Liverpool Wellcome research program in Malawi, through the University of Liverpool.
