About the NIHR Bradford and West Yorkshire Commercial Research Delivery Centre. The NIHR Bradford and West Yorkshire CRDC was established in April 2025 to advance healthcare through inclusive commercial clinical trials across Bradford and West Yorkshire.

Commercial Research Delivery Centres (CRDCs), established in April 2025, accelerate UK commercial clinical research delivery, boosting life sciences competitiveness. The 21 nationwide centres partner with industry to make the UK a premier location for innovative research. They expand trial accessibility beyond major hospitals into community settings and underserved areas. CRDCs provide dedicated research staff and facilities, ensure rapid study setup, simplify participation across various healthcare settings, increase inclusion from all eligible communities, and collaborate within a UK-wide CRDC Network.

The NIHR Bradford and West Yorkshire CRDC is led by Professor Dinesh Saralaya at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. We work closely with our partner sites: Mid Yorkshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust and Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Foundation Trust and our core team includes key representatives from each Trust.
