Fixed Term: 23 months (with possibility for extension)
We are seeking an enthusiastic, organised researcher with a passion for patient safety and/or implementation science to join us at the Bradford Institute for Health Research. We have a Band 6 Research Fellow post available within our Patient Safety Research Group. The successful applicant will have experience of conducting high quality, health-related qualitative and/or quantitative research. We are looking for candidates with previous work experience in research institutions (please note, this is not a clinical fellowship).
You will work as part of the Decluttering (Safely) for Safety theme across a range of projects exploring the de-implementation of low value patient safety practices. The programme is led by Professor Rebecca Lawton. Our team sits within the Yorkshire Quality and Safety Research Group (yqsr.org), which has an international reputation for collaboration across institutions and disciplines to deliver research that makes healthcare safer. Researchers and academics from the Universities of Leeds, York and Bradford team with clinicians and managers from Yorkshire and Humber, with the aim of making a real impact on health service delivery.
