Job overview
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic proactive Business Manager to support the smooth running and continued growth of our dynamic Research Group. Your role will be to provide comprehensive, efficient and responsive office management and administrative functions to the Director and Senior management team within the Group. You will provide support across the Group including, but not limited to, the Yorkshire and Humber Patient Safety Research Collaboration (PSRC), the Applied Research Collaboration, and the Policy Research Unit.
Main duties of the job
Among other things, you will:
- Take a lead role in monitoring business activities and resources, working with the Senior Management Team to support the continued performance and growth of the Group.
- Identify areas for efficiency improvement and develop and implement systems to support sustained change.
- Support funding submissions and co-ordinate annual reporting and meeting schedules
- Line manage the research support officer.
- Support a host of administrative functions to the team.
