In A Nutshell:
Developed from our one-day Silver QI training day, this course, now delivered virtually, offers individuals and teams an opportunity to work through the IHI’s Model of Improvement using a widely relatable case study from acute care. The content is intentionally highly practical with the aim of preparing you to engage in an improvement project within your organisation.

Course overview:
- An opportunity to explore some of the challenges to doing quality improvement work in primary care services.
- An overview of some of the challenges you may face when trying to improve quality health services.
- A guided, participatory, journey through the Model for Improvement, using a primary care case study.
- An understanding of when and how to use behaviour
change and other quality improvement concepts within
your role. - An understanding of the importance of measurement for
improvement.
NOTE: participants are expected to have completed the Bronze QI (Level 1) e-learning and to do a quick pre-course exercise.
