“Key Things to Know” Guide for researchers
Top things researchers need to know about CWY:
- Anonymised individual-level data: re-identification of individuals is not possible for research purposes.
- Small case numbers: studies with very few cases may not be feasible due to re-identification risk.
- No linkage between individuals: e.g., linking mothers with babies is not supported.
- Data provision is via a Secure Virtual Environment
- Minimum technical competence required: researchers will need basic skills in SQL, Python and R.
